CHILDREN’S & YOUTH MINISTRY
“We will not hide them (God’s acts) from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.”

OVERVIEW
Children are a blessing, an inheritance, and a stewardship from the Lord. At Christ Fellowship, our vision is children who love and worship God as their greatest treasure in all of life because they have been transformed by the power of the Gospel. Children of all ages are always invited to be in the worship service with their parents. For parents who desire their children to participate in our children’s ministry, we provide care and instruction from God’s word for children ages 0-8 during the worship service.
Nursery (ages 0-2)
During the worship service, children ages 0-2 are welcome to be in our nursery where they will be loved, cared for, and prayed for by our childcare workers.
Truth Seekers Jr (ages 3-5)
Currently, in our Truth Seeker’s class we are taking the children through a study of the Bible using LifeWay’s “The Gospel Project for Kids.” These God-centered lessons take children on a chronological survey of the Old and New Testaments, looking at significant events that testify to the greatness of our unchanging God.
Children aged 3-5 are signed in between 10:05 and 10:15 AM by parents in building 5000. See Kay Koch for more information.
Truth Seekers (ages 6-8)
While our Truth Seeker’s class for older students is also currently using LifeWay’s “The Gospel Project for Kids,” the lessons are taught at a higher level to appropriately engage the children’s minds and hearts.
Children aged 6-8 are signed in by parents in building 5000 between 10:05 and 10:15 AM, then dismissed after the pastoral prayer to meet their teachers for class. See Laurie Bell for more information.
Breaker Rock Beach Vacation Bible School
Please join us for Breaker Rock Beach Vacation Bible School June 17-21 from 9:00 AM to Noon at the church each day. VBS is open to children who turned 3 by January 1, 2024, through those who are finishing 5th grade this school year. We will explore how God’s Truth never changes! Adventure awaits as the children will explore tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock! VBS is free, but space is limited.

Youth Gatherings
Our youth gather every 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm for games, food, friendship, teaching, and discussion. Because God has given parents the primary privilege and responsibility for discipling their children, parents are welcome and encouraged to participate in these gatherings!
