We believe the gospel - the message of God’s work of redeeming us in Christ - is the fuel of our life as a church (Eph. 2). This is why you will hear the gospel preached every single Sunday at our corporate worship services. The gospel never “gets old” at Christ Fellowship!

We believe the best preaching is that in which the content and intent of the passage controls the content and intent of the sermon. That is why our pastors preach with the aim of “exposing” what the text says, what it means, and how it affects our lives in light of the finished work of Christ. We see Jesus as the hero of every sermon, not us!

We believe that the act of singing to God and to one another is a joy and responsibility of the Christian life (Col. 3:16). Our musical accompaniment is very simple because we want the beautiful sound of God’s people singing God’s praise to be the focal point!

We believe that committed fellowship with other Christians in a local church is the pattern of the New Testament Christian life, as it gives the context in which the “one another” commands can be obeyed (Acts 2:41-42). Entrusted with the “keys of the kingdom” by Christ, we welcome gospel confessors as members of our church through Baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Matt. 16:14-19, 18:15-20, Matt. 28:16-20; 1 Cor. 11). We believe that such “meaningful church membership” is, according to God’s design, a source of tremendous blessing and joy for the follower of Jesus.

We believe it is our responsibility as a church to send forth the gospel into the all nations of the world, which is why we eagerly send out and partner with like-minded missionaries overseas (Matt. 28:18-20).
